(December 19, 2013) Remember that your library card gives you free access to a large and ever-growing collection of Ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, music, and videos for e-readers, tablets, and mobile devices.  Visit the Ohio Digital Library to see the selection.  The help features there will explain how to download to your particular device, and check out the demonstrations on SEO's new YouTube channel

Salvation Army Angel Tree

(December 4, 2013) The library is hosting an Angel Tree for the Minerva Salvation Army.  Stop by and pick out a gift tag and help a local child have a Merry Christmas. Gifts may be returned to the library unwrapped and with the Angel Tree tag or dropped off at the Salvation Army.

Merry Music Program

(November 27, 2013) Join us on Tuesday evening, December 10 from 6:30-7:15 for stories and songs in a special holiday merry music celebration for the whole family. Activities will include listening to stories, singing carols accompanied by live music, and putting together a jingle bell music maker. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please call the Youth Services Department at 330-868-4101 to register.

Christmas Candyland Cottage Make & Take Programs

(November 18, 2013)  When children are out of school on Monday, December 2, families are invited to join us at the library to create a charming candy cottage to take home. Two sessions are offered, one in the morning from 11:00-12:00 and another in the afternoon from 2:00-3:00.  Participants are asked to bring along one cup of unwrapped candy to use and share with other cottage decorators. Graham crackers and frosting for basic construction will be provided.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to assist in construction. Please call the library at 330-868-4101 to register your family for the programs.
